Monday, October 23, 2023 - 13:45

The MCC Museum at Lord’s Cricket Ground is one of the oldest sporting museums in the world, and is home to many historic artefacts of dear importance to the game of cricket.

Currently on display at the museum is an exhibition named England’s Black Cricketers, which features photographic portraits of each of the 21 black men and women to have played international cricket for England, all of which were taken by award-winning photographer Tom Shaw.

The exhibition also contains various memorabilia and objects related to each of the players.

If you are keen to visit the exhibition, then you can do so via either taking part in a Lord’s tour, or booking out the Museum for a private function as one of the many event spaces at the Home of Cricket. Additionally, during the season, the Museum is open to anyone attending a cricket match.
